Exciting News Announced for Tri-Town Ice Arena

2023-02-27

We are excited to announce that the New Hampshire Hockey Club LLC., a group of local investors, has signed a purchase and sale agreement to acquire Tri-Town Ice Arena including the Youth Programs.  This ownership transfer is on track to close in April of 2023.  The group includes Chris Brown, local business owner and founder of the Black Ice Pond Hockey Tournament, Brian Verville, local business owner and longtime hockey supporter, Clint Edinger, owner Edinger’s Edge, longtime coach and general manager and Todd Spencer, owner of Premier Hockey and Founder of the New England Wildcats program.  This group has been working hard budgeting and planning positive change you will soon witness to the Arena and the hockey and skating programs. Though the process is in the final stages, you will begin to see several physical changes to the facility very soon.  You will also hear from this ownership group about the current state of the youth hockey programs and the steps planned to address the programs current status.  Because of the closing date, tryouts for the Youth and the Junior teams will stay the same.

In addition to the arena ownership this group will begin the New Hampshire Hockey Academy this fall.  The inaugural season will have a U18 and U16 boys teams.  In 2024 there will be a U19 girls and U17 boys team added to the program.  The players will go the Bishop Brady High School in Concord for in person education, live in dorms on the campus of NHTI in Concord and skate at Tri Town Ice Arena.  More details will be available soon about this exciting opportunity!

Lastly in the next few weeks the new ownership group will be able to announce exciting news with a new junior hockey program affiliation.

We are ecstatic with this planned transition of ownership and passing the torch to the next generation of hockey and business entrepreneurs.  We confidently feel that this group's vision will allow Tri-Town Ice Arena and its teams to flourish for years to come.
